HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
We hope all of you are enjoying this Thanksgiving weekend.

The rabbits have much to be thankful for at this time - the warm sun on their backs, the smell and feel of the good earth under their feet, the comfort of full, thick coats, and the continued generosity of EARS supporters.
Today we want to show special appreciation to our landscaping crew: Daniel & Suzanne, and Robert of Jim's Mowing in Parksville/Qualicum. Through the Spring and Summer and now into Fall our furry friends have been receiving "meals on wheels". Beautiful, bountiful, green cuisine by the truckload! Daniel and Robert bring all their fresh grass and shrub clippings to EARS sanctuary.

What a wonderful addition to the bunnies regular diet of commercial pelleted feed, grass hay, and fruits and vegetables. Thanks, guys!

We also want to thank the Town of Canmore, Alberta for inviting us to submit a non-lethal feral rabbit management option for their review. Yes, another challenge for all of us commited to the respectful and compassionate care of abandoned animals! We hope Canmore will give us the opportunity to capture, sterilize, and relocate these rabbits to a sanctuary home in Alberta.
